Glass Gap Planner ("the app") is a browser-based tool for planning glass panel and gap layouts, provided by Stanley Liu. This page explains what data the app collects, how it's used, and the basic terms of using it and subscribing to it.
Creating an account only requires an email address. We use Supabase for authentication (a one-time code sent to your email, no password) and to store your account record. We don't collect your name, address, or any other personal details unless you choose to provide them (for example, through the "Request a Quote" form).
If you save a project to the cloud, the layout data (edges, panel sizes, hardware settings) is stored against your account in our database, so you can load it again later. Nothing is shared with anyone else. You can delete a saved project at any time from the Load menu.
Paid subscriptions are handled entirely by Lemon Squeezy, our payment processor and merchant of record. We never see or store your card details — Lemon Squeezy collects payment directly and their own terms and privacy policy govern that transaction. We only receive your subscription status (active, cancelled, etc.) so the app knows whether to grant access.
If you use "Request a Quote," the name, email, phone number, and message you enter — along with an image of your current layout — are sent directly to us by email, and also saved in our database (along with a reference Quote ID) so we can follow up and keep track of the request. It's used only to respond to your enquiry.
We record basic in-app activity against your account — for example, that a project was created, a calculation completed, a project saved, or a quote exported — so we can tell whether the app is actually being used and where to focus improvements. These records are just an event name, a timestamp, and (where relevant) a reference to which saved project they relate to. We don't record individual clicks, mouse movements, keystrokes, or precise location.
The app uses your browser's local storage to keep you signed in and to remember a couple of preferences (like whether you've seen the help guide, or when your last visit was, so we don't log every page reload as a separate visit). We don't use advertising or tracking cookies, and we don't share data with ad networks.
Only Stanley Liu, as the operator of this app. Data is processed by our service providers (Supabase for the database/auth, Cloudflare for hosting, Resend for email delivery, Lemon Squeezy for payments) solely to run the app — none of them are permitted to use it for their own purposes.
